Communities of Practice

Connecting Educators

Communities of Practice (CoPs) provides opportunities for educators to network and learn from one another about topics of interest to educators. AASC facilitates CoPs to offer specialized groups the chance to participate in targeted conversations specific to the needs within the group.

Data Based Problem Solving CoP

The goal of this Community of Practice is for any member of a team using data to problem solve in an MTSS framework to engage in networking with other practitioners across the state! We will engage in practicing the problem solving process using real data and provide support for MTSS implementation.

Extensive Support Needs CoP

The goal of the Community of Practice for teachers of students with extensive support needs (ESN) is to create an environment that provides participants a safe space to share ideas and discuss issues of common interest to support the students served who require supports in multiple domains to make progress and achieve positive outcomes from high-quality educational programs.
