Communities of Practice (CoPs) provide educators with opportunities to network and learn from one another about topics of mutual interest. AASC facilitates CoPs, offering specialized groups the opportunity to participate in targeted conversations tailored to the group’s specific needs.
The goal of this Community of Practice is for any member of a team using data to problem solve in an MTSS framework to engage in networking with other practitioners across the state! We will engage in practicing the problem solving process using real data and provide support for MTSS implementation.
The goal of the Community of Practice for teachers of students with extensive support needs (ESN) is to create an environment that provides participants a safe space to share ideas and discuss issues of common interest to support the students served who require supports in multiple domains to make progress and achieve positive outcomes from high-quality educational programs.
The Teacher Toolbox Community of Practice (CoP) provides an opportunity for teachers and instructional coaches to discuss evidence-based instructional strategies and collaborate on problem-solving when students require additional support. Ginger Catoe and Susan Thomas will facilitate the CoP. Members will determine the content, share resources, and network with one another. The schedule and time will be determined by the members. A Zoom link for each meeting will be sent out on a monthly basis.
