Providing Reading Interventions for Students in Grades 4-9

The National Center for Education Evaluation at the Institute of Education Science has provided this practice guide for educators providing reading intervention to students in grades 4-9. Members of MTSS teams can use this guide to guide the selection of intervention practices. School and district members may also find this tool useful when selecting commercial intervention materials. The guide contains four recommendations along with suggested instructional practices for implementation and the evidence to support the practices.
