The Frayer Model: Building Vocabulary Concepts

The Frayer Model is an instructional strategy for upper elementary and secondary students tht is used to enable students to learn new vocabulary and concepts. It can be used across all content areas which makes it an efficient strategy to use in the classroom. When students learn how to use the Frayer model they can use it independently as a cognitive strategy to assist in learning vocabulary and conepts.
