Jenny Saunders

Jenny has nearly 17 years of experience working in the South Carolina public education system. She spent the first 15 years as a school psychologist in Berkeley County School District, working in elementary, middle, and high schools. Jenny spent eight years serving as a regional lead school psychologist, providing consultation, training, and support for the psychologists within her region. Most recently, Jenny has provided short-term school psychological services to charter schools within the Charleston area.  She’s passionate about analyzing school-wide data for instructional support and intervention planning! Jenny’s favorite saying is “Data doesn’t lie” and understanding a school’s population and performance is essential to improving student outcomes.
Jenny’s greatest joy come from her two school-aged children, Jack and Jolie, both of whom currently attend a SC public school. Jenny and her husband Jeff,  both transplants to South Carolina, met, married and have resided in Charleston, SC since 2005. In addition to her many hobbies, Jenny releases a weekly podcast with her childhood best friend and fellow psychologist, The LYLAS Podcast, covering all things mental wellness!
