The mission of the Academic Alliance South Carolina is to research and disseminate evidence-based practices to inform, implement, and sustain an integrated academic and behavioral framework within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to improve the academic achievement and social competence of students with disabilities.
Academic Alliance resources are all evidence-based and categorized to help teachers find what they need quickly. The Academic Alliance has Universal supports available to all schools and districts in South Carolina, including the resources housed on this website. We are working with SC TEAMS and the other technical assistance partners to keep our resource library relevant and up-to-date.
You are invited to take part in the events going on with the Academic Alliance and our other partners. These events are developed to support teachers by giving direction and encouragement around implementing evidence-based resources and practices. The Evidence-Based Practices Network (EBPN) provides opportunities for educators to learn and network to support the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices through virtual networking sessions. Network members can access these recording sessions to learn practical implementation tips. Check our calendar for upcoming topics and our one-page documents for implementation tips and resources.
The Academic Alliance Team is made up of educators with a passion for giving students with disabilities the best education experience through practices rooted in evidence and research for this population.
