Concrete Representative Abstract Sequence of Instruction
CRA is a concrete to visual representation to an abstract sequence of instruction. CRA is meant to start early in the learning process to prepare students for more complex abstract mathematics. It is aimed at teaching efficient and effective procedural fluency and does not need to be lockstep sequential. These training videos demonstrate how to utilize CRA for math instruction.
Early Math Numeracy Intervention
Strong numeracy skills are essential for students to develop in grades K-3 to be more successful when introduced to more complex math skills. Identifying problem areas and targeting those areas strategically will result in students who are competent and confident mathematicians. This module will introduce numeracy interventions that can be embedded in Tier One instruction by all teachers and intensified for students who need more practice to become fluent.
